Mugala Moreen runs the 199th BISS Bakery, in Bugembe town in Jinja district along Jinja – Tororo Road:
“I am a mother of one, his name is Sserwadda Uriel Kulo (1 year and 6 months old). He has cerebral palsy, though happily he receives therapy. In BISS we call him the Manager of the bakery.
I joined BISS Bakeries in 2023 with the aim of earning a living, taking care of my son and fulfilling my dream of self-employment. Since joining BISS, I’m able to get all necessities for my son and myself through the profits I make from the bakery and also plan to open a kids’ clothes store out of the bakery profits. My advice to other bakers is that they should do costing daily to keep track of the production records, and also employ helpers to increase daily production which will increase profits.
I would like to thank BISS for choosing and equipping me with baking skills to better my way of life together with my family… I am forever grateful.
